Director of Strategic Initiatives (AI)

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 annual base salary, plus a corporate bonus.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurable outcomes.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks through scalable process improvements, automation, and systems alignment.
• Design governance mechanisms including KPA frameworks, operating dashboards, QBRs, executive forums, and initiative tracking.
• Partner with technical AI teams and business leaders to prioritize and execute high-impact AI use cases.
• Align senior stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, manage risks, and drive accountability across functions.
• Support strategic projects involving M&A, partnerships, transformation programs, and strategy communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, data analytics, operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, transformation, commercial operations, or a related function.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Experience working directly with senior executives and functional leaders to drive decisions and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, timelines, owners, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
