Cloud Support Engineer (AWS)

Location: Seattle, Washington 98104; 3 days onsite

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 infrastructure support, incident management, request fulfillment, and operational escalation handling for more than 100 production AWS applications.
• Administer Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, and Confluent Cloud, including onboarding, access management, monitoring, security controls, and audit remediation support.
• Operate AWS and SaaS platforms with a focus on availability, stability, observability, backup, and recovery.
• Maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code and documentation for cloud operations, support processes, and platform configurations.
• Support cloud security policy enforcement, regulatory activities, evidence collection, and control validation.
• Support the migration of data center workloads to AWS, including application onboarding and post-migration stabilization, while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of hands-on AWS support experience and 6 years of experience in information technology roles.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Python, and GitHub source control.
• Experience with identity and access management, cloud incident management, on-call rotations, and backup and recovery tooling.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX, Agile methodologies, Jira, and cross-cloud monitoring solutions such as Datadog.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.
