TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (Marketplace): Defining and executing product initiatives that balance marketplace dynamics, optimize demand forecasting and matching, and increase student shift participation with an accent on complex real-world workflows and measurable business outcomes. Focus on solving open-ended problems, running data-driven experiments, and coordinating Engineering, Design, Operations, and Commercial teams from concept through post-launch evaluation.
Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with regular office attendance. Remote work is available up to 2 days per week, or 1 day per week during the first 6 months.

What you will do
- Define and execute product initiatives that balance marketplace supply and demand.
- Optimize demand forecasting, job-to-worker matching, and student shift engagement.
- Form cross-functional project teams around open-ended problems and own delivery end to end.
- Research users, including workers, clients, and internal teams, to identify product opportunities.
- Analyze data independently, formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and evaluate outcomes.
- Coordinate Engineering, Design, Operations, and Commercial teams from concept through launch and post-launch decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, including products coordinating real-world processes such as staffing, logistics, fintech operations, or healthcare.
- Experience with marketplace dynamics, allocation problems, and shipping complex products end to end.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work directly with data and data scientists.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal management authority.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English is required. German is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI in product work and shipping small features with limited engineering support.
- German language skills.
