Director, Payroll

What you will do

• Lead the US Payroll Team and Global Stock Team, ensuring timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle stock payroll processing.
• Manage payroll controls, reconciliations, reporting, data integrations, and internal procedures.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual employment tax reconciliations, W-2 and W-2C issuance, year-end processes, and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Lead SOX walkthroughs, audit requests, workers' compensation and 401(k) audits, data security requests, and legal requests.
• Manage payroll-related projects and partnerships with Tax, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, HR, IT, Internal Audit, and other business groups.
• Support ADP Bridge integrations and Oracle Fusion quarterly and open-enrollment patch testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in manufacturing and with regular-rate-of-pay calculations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, or equivalent payroll experience.
• Current APA/Payroll Org membership and CPP certification required.
• Experience with employment taxes, tax amendments, SOX analysis, audit management, payroll reconciliations, and payroll and time-and-attendance reporting.
• Knowledge of ACA requirements, regular rate of pay calculations, meal premiums, garnishments, data security, record retention, and multi-jurisdictional employment tax rules.
• Ability to lead projects, create SOPs, support cross-training, and present to large groups and business partners.
