Revenue Operations Analyst, Partnerships

Location: Remote; candidates must be US-based.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Transform source data for monthly billing, revenue recognition, and forecasting.
• Align employee benefits and partner enrollment forecasts with source customer counts and revenue accounting data for GAAP reporting.
• Own the billing engine’s ongoing health by performing QA on Python and SQL logic, monitoring discrepancies, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Debug and fix billing engine code while minimizing disruption to partner invoicing and downstream revenue reporting.
• Design and implement invoicing logic and billing flows for evolving contract structures, new partner types, and business requirements.
• Support ad hoc projects and system integrations as a subject-matter expert for Partner Revenue Operations.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of progressive experience in data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, including querying and efficiently manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with Databricks and with data engineering and analytics in a cloud environment.
• Experience building data logic and pipelines, including designing new invoicing flows.
• Ability to translate business and contract requirements into technical logic and work iteratively with stakeholders to validate assumptions.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, including identifying trends, discrepancies, and insights in financial data.
• Knowledge of financial statements, basic accounting principles, and tax implications.
• BA/BS in Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing processes and system integrations or implementations, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, or a similar sales tax engine.
• Understanding of subscription-based and usage-based billing and financial systems.
