Senior Billing Analyst

Location: Hybrid schedule, based in the Rio de Janeiro office, Brazil

What you will do

• Manage billing for a portfolio of strategic client accounts across the North American region.
• Prepare accurate and timely invoices, pro forma invoices, pre-approvals, supporting documentation, credit notes, and intercompany invoices.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, work orders, funding requirements, currencies, billing entities, and client-specific invoicing procedures.
• Reconcile vendor management systems, Tempest payroll and billing data, Amalto invoices, and Dynamics 365 records.
• Monitor invoice submissions, rejections, aged or missed billing, query logs, submittal logs, and audit documentation.
• Work with payroll, credit control, consultants, supervisors, and service teams to resolve escalated issues, reduce DSO, and improve billing operations.

Requirements

• Fluent English.
• At least 5 years of billing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of multi-currency transactions.
• Knowledge of funding and non-funding processes, withholding tax, and billing controls.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to meet month-end deadlines and changing priorities.
• Experience collaborating with multiple internal departments and driving process improvements.

• Knowledge of VAT and withholding tax; training is provided for withholding tax.
