Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Remote from Brazil

hirify.global is hiring for accounting operations supporting multiple entities and business units.

What you will do

• Own the month-end close across multiple locations, entities, and business units.
• Manage and review P&L, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial records.
• Perform and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
• Analyze financial results and identify discrepancies, risks, and unusual activity.
• Perform and review audit procedures across revenue, AR, inventory, fixed assets, AP, debt, equity, and payroll.
• Improve internal controls and accounting processes while supporting external audits and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including ownership of the month-end close.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong US GAAP and US accounting knowledge is essential.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple entities, locations, or business units is essential.
• Expert-level QuickBooks Online experience and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, AR, and AP.

Nice to have

• 2–4 years of public accounting or external audit experience.
• CPA license.
• Experience in a fast-growing or multi-location company.
• Experience improving accounting systems, processes, and controls.
