Focus on coordinating payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, forecasting, and process improvements during U.S. business hours.
Location: Remote from Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Costa Rica, or Brazil; working hours must align with U.S. business hours

is hiring for a client requiring outsourced accounting support across complex, multi-entity accounts.
What you will do
- Own accurate and timely month-end close processes across multiple entities, locations, and business segments.
- Prepare GAAP-aligned financial statements, reports, reconciliations, journal entries, and audit-ready workpapers.
- Process payroll, maintain employee records, and resolve payroll discrepancies using Gusto or a similar platform.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accuracy, and financial transaction classification.
- Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax while tracking compliance deadlines and documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, client communication, and accounting process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Hands-on expertise in accrual accounting and GAAP financial reporting.
- Experience managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-segment accounting environments.
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience; QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise experience is also relevant.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, and Data Tables.
- Hands-on payroll processing, U.S. state sales tax filing, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite, Paylocity, ADP, Ramp, Bill.com, or Clockify.
- Background in an outsourced accounting firm or supporting multiple clients.
- Experience improving accounting workflows, controls, or reporting processes.
