Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure IAM platforms.
• Build secrets management solutions covering secure storage, rotation, access control, and auditability.
• Implement user-to-service and service-to-service authentication using modern standards-based approaches.
• Deliver identity providers and federation services based on OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Design fine-grained and policy-based authorization systems supporting least privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Develop IAM standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and actionable security guidance for engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IAM or security engineering experience building and operating identity platforms in production.
• Experience with secrets management, authentication, and authorization systems.
• Strong understanding of IAM architectures, security design principles, modern protocols, and complex identity flows.
• Knowledge of application, platform, and cloud security threats and best practices.
• Systems knowledge including Linux/Unix, networking, Kubernetes or container platforms, and cloud security.
• Ability to read and write Python, plus a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Advanced coding skills in multiple major programming languages.
• Experience in high-performance, research-driven, or low-latency engineering environments.
