Cut Rite Planner and Routing Specialist (Day Shift)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite manufacturing environment with day-shift work and flexibility for varied hours and overtime

Salary: $27.56–$29.52 per hour

What you will do

• Optimize daily production schedules using the Cut Rite program.
• Support production control by communicating BOM issues and maintaining accurate manufacturing data.
• Create and maintain routing steps, including costs, credits, notes, and supplemental part data.
• Analyze ERP data and update reports and systems using Microsoft Access, Excel macros, and SQL.
• Use engineering drawings to verify that parts meet specifications and resolve production-data issues through PRDs.
• Follow shop-floor, ISO, safety, quality, disposal, and 5S procedures while contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SDLC software and SQL for data analysis and query creation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, and ERP systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, work with numbers and spreadsheets, prioritize tasks, and solve problems independently.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, heat, and required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cut Rite software and creating new Access databases.
• Experience with wood optimization and nesting software.
• Familiarity with networking systems and woodworking equipment.
