Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; onsite work across multiple jobsites. Local travel within a two-hour driving distance each way accounts for 70–90% of the role, with occasional out-of-town air travel.
Salary: CAD 41.30–48.60 per hour

What you will do
- Lead onsite implementation as Site Superintendent and act as the primary contact for field engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and the Project Manager.
- Oversee 10–15 or more technicians and subcontractors, enforcing installation, productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Serve as the first escalation point for client and field issues, defusing onsite problems and supporting system integration.
- Coordinate training, performance feedback, growth plans, and personnel-related recommendations for field teams.
- Support site surveys, commissioning-readiness checks, service coordination, tool and material delivery, and tracking of tooling and test equipment.
- Provide daily project updates, review field reports, and support the development and deployment of installation processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a senior or lead technician, or experience as a site superintendent.
- Advanced audio-visual installation skills and familiarity with a wide range of AV and networking equipment.
- Strong experience in construction environments and knowledge of low-voltage electrical concepts.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
- Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license, ability to use a personal vehicle for local travel, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
