Location: Hybrid in Iselin, New Jersey, with 3 mandatory days in the office each week, including 2 days in Iselin on a rotating monthly schedule.

Salary: $55–$60 per hour on W-2

hirify.global is hiring for a software engineering contract assignment supporting a home-lending application.

What you will do

• Further develop the existing ERLMF early-resolution application supporting mortgage processes.
• Contribute as a full-stack Java engineer within one of three Scrum teams.
• Design and implement configuration and automation capabilities.
• Build a complex rules-based AI tool planned for the application.
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex software engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with client personnel and contribute to engineering planning and deliverables.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• Recent Java experience within the last 2 years.
• Spring Boot experience.
• Full-stack software development experience.
• Availability for 3 mandatory office days per week in Iselin, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude; Devin and Cursor are also used in the environment.
• Experience working in a corporate bank.
