Business Analyst

Salary: $84,000–$116,000 per year

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements for the FSA Identity and Access Management modernization project.
• Collaborate with the government Product Owner, FSA stakeholders, and the development team to plan work and prioritize the product backlog.
• Conduct discovery and user research using Human-Centered Design practices.
• Define and refine user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, sprint scope, and releasable features.
• Support Agile project management, continuous improvement, and Definition of Done activities.
• Manage and document IAM change requests and help coordinate proofs of concept and project activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience.
• Public Trust clearance required.
• Experience working in Agile environments; Scrum or SAFe experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizing backlogs.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or similar, plus knowledge of Human-Centered Design and user research techniques.
