Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling, group sessions, intake, and readmission services.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs and develop or revise treatment plans.
• Provide supportive follow-up counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and coordination with community providers.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and inter-agency documentation in line with program and regulatory requirements.
• Orient patients to treatment procedures, support addiction recovery, and help patients adjust to a drug-free life.
• Participate in staff training, program implementation, caseload management, OBOT services, and community activities.

Requirements

• Current counseling credentials and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a human services-related field, as required by the state.
• Knowledge of human behavior, substance abuse populations, treatment planning, and human social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions and handle confidential or sensitive situations appropriately.
• Ability to respond quickly, manage stressful situations, and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with federal and state certification, licensure, degree, and regulatory requirements.
