Market Applications Sales Specialist (Data Center)

Location: Amadora, Lisboa, Portugal; remote/flexible work is available.

What you will do

• Clarify customer requirements, project drivers, specifications, site conditions, and decision criteria with Sales.
• Define substation concepts, including single line diagrams, layouts, voltage levels, equipment, interfaces, assumptions, and technical scope.
• Select and specify electrical equipment and prepare documentation for customer alignment, costing, and proposals.
• Validate solutions against customer needs, standards, portfolio capabilities, technical risks, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate engineering teams and factories while retaining technical ownership of the integrated solution.
• Present and defend technical concepts with customers and prepare handover documentation for execution teams.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience with single line diagrams, substation layouts, equipment selection, technical specifications, electrical calculations, and applicable standards.
• Ability to explain and defend complex technical decisions in customer discussions.
• Strong collaboration skills in international and multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluent English is required.
• High ownership, structured working methods, and confidence in independently resolving technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center projects, customer requirements, or critical infrastructure solutions.
• Additional regional language skills.
