Senior Golang Developer (Web Scraping)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace

Salary: from €6,000 gross per month, negotiable based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services and high-scale product endpoints.
• Develop Go-first components while working across the existing Node.js and TypeScript core.
• Write clear, tested, and documented code that delivers business value.
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture and conduct code reviews.
• Maintain infrastructure processing 60PB+ of monthly traffic, 300k+ service requests per second, and 500k+ Kafka messages per second.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in any language.
• Hands-on Go experience or strong motivation to develop in Go, with a solid grasp of syntax, best practices, and standard libraries.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or Codex, plus interest in applying AI to production systems.
• Solid English and Lithuanian language knowledge required.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach to engineering work.

Nice to have

• React or JavaScript familiarity for understanding how backend logic is visualized.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience for deployment and orchestration.
• Experience leading R&D initiatives or introducing new technologies and AI tools.
