Associate Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania; required to work from the Kaunas office at least 3 days per week

Salary: €3,250–€3,450 gross per month, plus yearly bonuses of approximately 10% of annual salary and a Booking Holdings RSU package worth $20,000 gross.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve systems and tooling that support marketing teams.
• Help build AI-driven workflows and systems that streamline marketing operations.
• Experiment with AI tools and technologies to solve problems more effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers and marketing stakeholders to deliver reliable, easy-to-use tools.
• Develop engineering skills through code reviews, pairing, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Education in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience with Java, including internships or academic projects.
• Familiarity with Spring and SQL databases.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and experiment in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Elasticsearch or similar search technologies.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with Python.
