TL;DR
Character Artist (3D) (AAA Game Development): Creating realistic 3D characters, materials, and textures for Techland’s next major game title with an accent on anatomy, visual authenticity, and technical quality. Focus on sculpting and texturing humans and monsters, implementing assets in the C-Engine, and collaborating with Lead Character Artists and Art Directors.
Location: Wrocław or Warsaw, Poland; remote, onsite, and hybrid work models are available.

What you will do
- Create and modify realistic 3D character models, including humans and monsters, for an upcoming AAA title.
- Work with the Lead Character Artist and Art Director based on detailed Art Guide direction.
- Create and refine character materials and textures.
- Implement character models in the in-house C-Engine and ensure technical and artistic quality.
- Present work results and explain project decisions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary character development team and learn internal tools.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience creating realistic 3D character models and textures for AAA projects.
- Strong skills in ZBrush and at least one of 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Strong character texturing and material creation skills with Substance Painter and Photoshop.
- Good understanding of human anatomy.
- Experience with Marvelous Designer and Wrap3D.
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or in-house engines, plus very good command of English.
