Lead Props/Environment 3D Artist (AAA Game Art): Leading the creation of hard-surface and organic props and environment assets for a dark, atmospheric game universe being ported to a modern engine with an accent on AAA visual quality, PBR workflows, and cross-style adaptability. Focus on setting art standards, optimizing modeling and texturing pipelines, managing LODs and UVs, and solving production bottlenecks across multiple projects.
Location: Remote from Poland, with the role listed in Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to a team of prop artists, including conducting performance reviews.
- Set and maintain high artistic and technical quality standards for props and environment assets.
- Develop and optimize modeling and PBR texturing workflows for demanding production schedules.
- Distribute tasks across the team and track deadlines across multiple active projects.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and Project Managers to identify risks and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain technical briefs, style guides, and best-practice documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in game art, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expert-level portfolio demonstrating hard-surface and organic prop creation across different styles.
- Expert knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender, plus ZBrush and the Substance Suite.
- Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 4/5 or proprietary AAA engines.
- Mastery of PBR workflows, UV optimization, baking, and LOD management.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
