What you will do

• Create detailed landscapes using UE5 sculpting, painting, foliage, and spline tools, as well as external DCCs like Gaea or World Machine.
• Design and implement comprehensive biomes, including rocks, decals, roads, and other natural elements.
• Build and manage landscape materials within the Unreal shader system.
• Develop high-quality materials using Quixel Mixer or Substance Designer.
• Utilize procedural tools like PCG or Houdini for the efficient placement of natural assets.
• Collaborate with design, lighting, and technical teams to ensure visual consistency and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Proficiency in UE5 and Perforce.
• Experience with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3Ds Max.
• Knowledge of terrain generation software (Gaea, World Machine).
• Deep understanding of Unreal Engine Landscape systems and Material Graphs.
• Experience creating biome assets, including embankment, road modules, and landscape patches.

Nice to have

• Experience with material creation in Quixel Mixer and Substance Designer.
• Knowledge of the Houdini plugin for Unreal Engine.
