2027 Summer Intern - Alternatives Business Management Analyst

Location: Onsite at hirify.global’s Newport Beach, California headquarters, United States. The 10-week internship runs from early June to mid-August, with full-duration availability required. A transition bonus supports relocation to one of the office locations.

hirify.global is a global active fixed-income investment manager offering alternative credit and private investment strategies across real estate, mortgage credit, corporate debt, and specialty finance.

What you will do

• Support the smooth operation of the global alternatives business across funds and accounts.
• Prepare reporting, forecasting, capacity analysis, and budgeting materials.
• Deliver data and analytics to portfolio managers to support investment decision-making.
• Develop and manage strategic initiatives that enable scalability, goal achievement, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee governance, administration, policies, procedures, and transaction management for alternatives funds in the US and Europe.
• Manage complex cross-functional projects and transactions throughout the deal lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester and pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be able to begin full-time employment from a hirify.global office between January 2028 and August 2028.
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent, at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, SQL, Business Objects, Bloomberg, iLEVEL, Power BI, or DealCloud.
• Experience in a buy-side or sell-side trade room, private equity, real estate, legal or compliance, product management, or project management.
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools to solve problems and improve outcomes.
