Strategy Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Annual base salary: $110,000

What you will do

• Identify and define strategic priorities in collaboration with hirify.global leadership.
• Build relationships across trading groups to identify opportunities and expand into new or incremental businesses.
• Support implementation of selected initiatives with trading desks, operations, technology teams, and project managers.
• Develop data-based business planning recommendations for senior leaders.
• Analyze exchange data, including volume trends and new market initiatives, while monitoring the competitive landscape.
• Assess cost models, scenario outcomes, and technology, operations, and personnel requirements.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related science discipline.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools for task automation, analysis, or productivity improvement.
• Ability to use data to analyze and quantify new business opportunities.
• Understanding of derivative markets, along with excellent writing and presentation skills.
