Intern Cleaning BioProcess Engineer 80-100% (Bioprocess)

Location: Fully site-based in Visp, Switzerland

What you will do

• Prepare, create, review, optimize, and control cleaning-related manufacturing documentation.
• Review and improve cleaning steps in SOPs, electronic batch records, and cleaning protocols.
• Create and update swab and rinse sampling overviews, sampling point lists, cleaning plans, and related operational documents.
• Apply a Right First-Time mindset to documentation reviews and address identified gaps.
• Collect supporting information for cleaning-related deviations, change requests, CAPAs, and investigations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, and MSAT Cleaning Experts within the Operations Support team.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English is required.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize and perform in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work fully site-based in Visp, Switzerland.
