Internal Technical Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Location: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Pune, or Delhi, India; travel up to 30%

What you will do

• Develop industrial automation solutions with customers and Sales Engineers.
• Recommend and size servo systems, VFDs, PLCs, motion controllers, and geared motors.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Support technical sales, customer meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate with technical teams.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in industrial automation, motion control, drives, application engineering, technical support, or technical sales.
• Experience with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, or industrial end users.
• Exposure to packaging, FMCG, converting, printing, textiles, robotics, material handling, or process automation.
• Experience with product sizing, selection, and configuration tools.
• Familiarity with SAP, CRM, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of technical sales, quotations, and solution-selling methodologies.
