What you will do

• Define architectures for industrial robotics and automation solutions, including robotic arms, humanoid and legged robots, mobile platforms, end-effectors, and integrated robotic cells.
• Translate customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints into scalable and maintainable system architectures.
• Drive decisions across motion planning, control, perception, simulation, hardware integration, deployment, reliability, and performance.
• Establish engineering practices for robotics software development, testing, simulation, CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.
• Research trends, technologies, and standards in industrial robotics, automation, simulation, and AI-enabled robotics.
• Support mentoring, pre-sales activities, technical proposals, solution estimates, and customer-facing architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Experience designing complex robotics software architectures for industrial or advanced automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, control, perception, and system-level integration.
• Experience making high-level decisions across software, hardware interfaces, control systems, middleware, simulation environments, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with robotic arms, mobile, humanoid, and legged robots, end-effectors, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation equipment.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Linux, ROS/ROS2, MoveIt2, Git, CMake, Make, GDB, CI/CD, testing, profiling, software architecture, distributed systems, and real-time or near-real-time systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
