2027 Summer Intern - Trade Support Analyst (Fixed Income)

What you will do

• Support Associates, Traders, and Portfolio Managers across portfolio management and trading desks.
• Monitor portfolio positions against client guidelines in coordination with Compliance.
• Coordinate portfolio rebalancing and help implement investment objectives across assigned portfolios.
• Use proprietary risk systems to monitor portfolio exposures and assist with account transitions and cash flow management.
• Conduct performance and attribution analyses and respond to ad hoc portfolio management requests.
• Develop creative tools and solutions to support portfolio management activities.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester and pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be able to work full time from a hirify.global office between January and August 2028.
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent, at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Business-proficient English.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance, with analytical, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including calculations, data analysis, formatting, functions, and simple macro development.

Nice to have

• Coursework in finance, fixed income, or capital markets.
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools to solve problems in work or academic projects.
