Location: Chicago, with an 11-week training period based in London. The role includes travel, accommodation, and relocation support during the transition.

What you will do

• Learn the foundations of options market making, pricing, probability, and risk.
• Apply theoretical knowledge through trading simulations, mock trading, and classroom training.
• Use the tools and systems operated on Maven’s trading desks.
• Start live trading within the first eight weeks and progressively take on more responsibility.
• Complete desk placements in Chicago before moving onto a dedicated trading desk.

Requirements

• Be a final-year undergraduate or master’s student, or a recent graduate.
• Demonstrate strong numeracy skills and a solid understanding of probability and statistics.
• Show genuine interest in financial markets and curiosity to learn.
• Be willing to adopt and use emerging AI technologies.
• Bring strong problem-solving, decision-making, learning, synthesis, collaboration, and accountability skills.
