Quantitative Trading Intern (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; fully in person during summer 2027

What you will do

• Analyze daily trades and recap significant market trends.
• Rotate between product groups to learn market dynamics and trading strategies.
• Collaborate with the desk team on daily strategy adjustments.
• Participate in quantitative research and apply quantitative strategies to market-making operations.
• Analyze extensive datasets to generate insights for trading strategies.
• Complete the hirify.global University program and practical training in trading operations.

Requirements

• Strong curiosity, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Training or demonstrated ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively while maintaining independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Ability to live in Chicago and attend the internship fully in person during summer 2027.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or spring 2028.
• Regular and reliable attendance during business hours is essential, including occasional early on-site attendance.
