Senior Actuary (With-Profits)

What you will do

• Support the Head of With-Profits Management with expert technical advice on M&G's With-Profits business.
• Advise on the strategic management of With-Profits funds, including investment strategy, bonus policy, capital, liquidity, expenses, and profitability.
• Review and challenge business initiatives and changes affecting With-Profits funds and policyholders.
• Prepare and review committee, senior management, and Board-level papers and reports.
• Attend meetings and committees to represent the With-Profits Actuary team and Finance.
• Help fulfil the statutory With-Profits Actuary role and safeguard policyholder interests.

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary.
• Experience managing With-Profits funds, including investment strategy, capital and liquidity management, and policyholder outcomes.
• Experience advising businesses on actuarial issues and the commercial implications of decisions.
• Working knowledge of financial reporting, product pricing, life and pensions products, and relevant financial services regulation.
• Experience analysing and challenging results, assessing scenarios and risks, and developing practical solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex financial and actuarial information clearly to senior stakeholders and write Board-level reports.
