Senior Manager, Product Design - Product Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers, including senior individual contributors.
• Set design strategy and quality standards for shared product platform experiences in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Work as a player-coach on complex, technically challenging, and ambiguous design problems.
• Shape how customers navigate products, manage access and data, and use shared capabilities such as reporting, AI, and design systems.
• Represent Design in roadmap planning, prioritization, product strategy, and architecture discussions.
• Drive adoption and evolution of reusable design patterns and the shared design system across product teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional product design experience, including complex, systems-level, platform, infrastructure-adjacent, or enterprise products.
• 3+ years of experience managing product designers, including senior individual contributors.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product craft, systems thinking, and the ability to simplify technically complex experiences.
• Experience building, governing, evolving, or scaling a design system.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical fluency in architecture, data models, platform constraints, and technical trade-offs, plus a strong understanding of AI-native products and design practices.

• Experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
