Customer Support Technician (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Kiryat Gat, Israel; onsite work in a cleanroom environment with shifts including nights and weekends

What you will do

• Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate field support activities.
• Work with hand and power tools while following cleanroom and equipment safety procedures.

Requirements

• Practical Engineer or Technician qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
• Ability and willingness to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% and a valid passport required.
• Relocation is not available; the position is based in Kiryat Gat.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer service, field service, or related technical experience.
• Experience with electronic or mechanical equipment.
