Account Management Specialist (Life Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage pending inventory and issued life insurance cases to improve placement rates.
• Serve as the liaison between agency partners and internal teams, providing updates and resolving escalations.
• Support onboarding, service, and ongoing account management for new business across distribution channels.
• Deliver training, communicate process changes, and present processes, results, and best practices to agency staff and financial professionals.
• Conduct agency visits, facilitate performance review calls, and gather feedback to strengthen partnerships.
• Partner with Compliance and Field Risk Management on regulatory matters and participate in service enhancement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial services, insurance, or client relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and support business needs during peak periods.
• Proficiency with multiple systems and tools.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of life or disability insurance product knowledge.
• Experience in life or disability insurance case management or underwriting.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services, customer service, or client relationship management.
