Senior Engineer, Trading Product Engineering (Java)

What you will do

• Design and deliver reusable, reliable, low-latency Java code for the exchange.
• Improve code quality, system organization, and automation as the platform scales under load.
• Profile and resolve performance bottlenecks in the order-processing path.
• Strengthen stability through unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering, product management, and project management teams.

Requirements

• Strong fluency in Java 17 or later, including performance tuning.
• Experience designing and building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI development, LLM integration, prompt engineering, and SDLC automation.
• Knowledge of middleware and messaging technologies such as Chronicle Queue, RabbitMQ, Aeron, and Kafka.
• Working knowledge of Spring or Micronaut, Docker, Kubernetes, testing methodologies, SDLC practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ownership of critical exchange components and their reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience with order matching and orderbook generation.
• Familiarity with Options, Futures, the FIX protocol, and related workflows.
• Understanding of blockchain technologies.
