Manufacturing Technician II - Filling (Nights) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: Onsite in West Chester, Ohio, USA. The role starts on a Monday-Friday, 8-hour dayshift schedule and transitions to a 2-2-3, 12-hour night-shift schedule after commercial handover.

Salary: $21.50-$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, assemble, disassemble, adjust, and sanitize filling machinery while maintaining smooth product flow.
• Perform in-process monitoring, visual and physical inspections, line clearances, filter integrity testing, and cleaning activities.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, equipment logs, mathematical calculations, and OEE data collection.
• Use SCADA, HMI, printing devices, material-handling equipment, and SAP for limited inventory-control activities.
• Support cartridge filling line tech transfer, validation and engineering protocols, preventive maintenance, and commercial handover.
• Participate in lean manufacturing and process-improvement activities, including 5S, SMED, problem-solving, and performance tracking.

Requirements

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a changing, demanding manufacturing environment.
• Ability to demonstrate and maintain gown qualification standards and follow aseptic behaviours, PPE, LOTO, chemical-handling, and other safety procedures.
• Work authorization sponsorship, including visa sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Prior production experience.
• Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies and procedures.
