Global Head of CGT Operations Strategy & PMO (Cell and Gene Therapy)

What you will do

• Define and execute the global Cell & Gene Therapy transformation strategy, governance model, prioritization process, and long-term roadmap.
• Lead operational excellence, digitalization, training, productivity improvement, and transformation initiatives across a global manufacturing network.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, operational reliability, and performance using Lean, Six Sigma, and other best-practice methodologies.
• Implement automation, advanced technologies, manufacturing systems, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, flexibility, and scalability.
• Establish global training and capability-building programs, governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting, and standardized operating approaches.
• Lead global and site-based teams while partnering with Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and Group Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Significant leadership experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, cell and gene therapy, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven success leading global operational excellence, productivity, and transformation programs across multi-site manufacturing networks.
• Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational performance management.
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation, automation, manufacturing systems, data-driven decision-making, GMP requirements, regulatory expectations, and quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, build high-performing teams, and drive organizational change.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s degree.
• Experience in cell and gene therapy, biologics, advanced therapeutics, or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, advanced analytics, and automation technologies.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, project management, or a related discipline.
