What you will do

• Support the Head Chef and help ensure every service runs smoothly.
• Take charge of kitchen shifts when required.
• Mentor the kitchen team and maintain high standards.
• Use culinary expertise to create memorable food and consistently high-quality plates.
• Handle stock, kegs, and deliveries safely as part of regular duties.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume pub or similar setting.
• Up-to-date cooking credentials and food safety certifications.
• Strong leadership skills and a cool-headed approach.
• Ability to perform regular manual handling and lifting safely and efficiently.
• Successful completion of required Employee Due Diligence checks, which may include a National Police Check.
