What you will do

  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims from initiation through resolution.
  • Act as a contact for injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate medical examinations, treatment, rehabilitation services, and return-to-work planning.
  • Assess and process payments to stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Develop case management strategies and review and monitor treatment requests.
  • Handle high-volume client and customer calls, including challenging conversations.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Experience in customer service, medical administration, or insurance claims, or a recent graduate in Law, Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or Psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to people with medical, cultural, and social needs.
  • Interest in developing a career in case management and workers’ compensation.
