Sr. Principal Enterprise Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Ohio, or another Huntington corporate office location in the United States

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan

What you will do

• Design conceptual and logical architecture solutions for high-level corporate application initiatives.
• Define non-functional requirements covering scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design system integration patterns and provide oversight for federated architecture.
• Guide Application Architects and ensure alignment with approved solutions, standards, and patterns.
• Identify technical constraints and technical debt, recommending remediation paths.
• Partner with business, product, and technology leaders on roadmaps, efficiency opportunities, vendor decisions, proofs of concept, and prototypes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in architecture, or 10+ years for the preferred profile.
• 5+ years working as a Solution Architect across multiple domains, including business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent solution architecture or related experience.
• Experience with architecture principles, Agile and Waterfall delivery, software development life cycles, and quality code delivery.
• Experience with cloud solution enablement, preferably GCP and/or AWS, plus SOA, microservices, and modern web application frameworks.
• Banking industry experience, architecture governance, ArchiMate, TOGAF or equivalent frameworks, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• 1–3+ years of experience with AI models, LLMs, AI/ML, or tool automation.
• Experience providing architecture direction for small- to large-scale projects and initiatives.
• Soft skills training, architecture-related courses or workshops, and peer mentoring experience.
