Associate Model Based Systems Engineer (SysML)

Location: Onsite in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States; 5 days per week in the office. Travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $74,000–$150,000 per year, with disclosed ranges of $74,000–$116,000 or $90,000–$150,000 depending on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

• Develop system models supporting software development with SysML v2 and Agentic AI.
• Generate requirements, use cases, verification cases, and analysis cases.
• Develop structural and behavioral system architectures.
• Create plugins using the SysML v2 API specification.
• Model systems using Cameo Enterprise Architecture 2026x, also known as CATIA Magic.
• Collaborate with MBSE and SysML v2 subject-matter experts on advanced defense projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, physics, or mathematics, or equivalent full-time professional experience.
• 0–3 years of full-time professional experience in MBSE, digital engineering, systems engineering, or related technical roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, 5 days per week.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience creating plugins with an MBSE modeling tool API, such as Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Experience with the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
• OMG SysML v2 Model User Certification or OMG OCSMP SysML v1 certifications.
• Knowledge of Navy testing programs, practices, and assets.
• System integration and testing experience for complex software applications and testing tools.
