Temporary Works Coordinator - HVP (Engineering)

What you will do

• Coordinate the planning, design, checking, erection, and use of temporary works, including access structures, scaffolding, formwork, shoring, fencing, lighting, and temporary power.
• Oversee temporary works designs and verify compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Identify and mitigate temporary works risks through risk assessments and RAMS.
• Supervise site activities and ensure temporary works are correctly built, maintained, and monitored.
• Liaise with designers, engineers, site teams, and contractors to protect the main construction works.
• Maintain design and inspection records and stop work when temporary works are unsafe or unsatisfactory.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating temporary works in a construction or engineering environment.
• Ability to assess designs, risks, erection methods, and ongoing temporary works conditions.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors on site.
• Ability to work onsite in Carrington, Manchester.
