What you will do

• Carry out and document all tasks associated with the pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and customer witnessing.
• Manage handover documentation and ensure systems are fully operational for customer acceptance.
• Maintain and update health and safety documentation and ensure strict adherence to site procedures.
• Conduct site surveys to support project teams and compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Collaborate with senior commissioning engineers on major projects.

Requirements

• HNC or equivalent in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Power Industry.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Proficiency in testing: Contact resistance (Ductor), Insulation resistance, AC dielectric withstand, CT/VT checks, and relay secondary injection.
• Working knowledge of basic protection relays and the ability to make minor configuration changes.
• Ability to work away from home approximately 80% of the year.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
