Senior Director, Surveillance and Market Intelligence (Financial Regulation)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements

Salary: $181,500–$355,400 annual base salary for MA, MD, VA, and Washington, DC locations. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, education, and market considerations.

What you will do

• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the regulatory surveillance program.
• Manage reviews and analysis of regulatory intelligence from internal sources, tips, complaints, filings, and other regulators.
• Direct managers and individual contributors, including coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Design and implement measures to manage surveillance matters, program risks, and operational objectives.
• Direct special projects, surveys, and technology initiatives affecting Surveillance.
• Represent hirify.global in internal and external meetings, speaking engagements, and industry initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in the securities or financial services industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated project management, process improvement, surveillance development lifecycle, and goal attainment skills.
• Extensive knowledge of hirify.global, MSRB, other SRO rules, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and related regulations.
• Experience investigating potential securities rule violations and leading regulatory programs.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
