Senior Team Lead - Acquisitions (AI)

Location: Arlington, VA - 1801 S Bell (INDG)

Salary: $130,000-$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and lead the strategy and operations for content acquisitions focused on tax and legal subject matter experts.
• Oversee teams acquiring expert content and manage contributor, vendor, and author lifecycle processes.
• Develop scalable, compliant acquisition processes, governance frameworks, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Use customer insights and data to test new content concepts and measure their business value.
• Partner with commercial teams to support new sales and customer retention.
• Build partnerships with industry organizations and universities while supporting thought leadership, events, and commentary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a J.D. or graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience, including 3 or more years in a management role.
• Demonstrated success solving customer problems in legal, professional, and financial markets.
• Experience managing teams and leading large-scale projects.
• Strong project management, communication, relationship-building, and change-management skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines; familiarity with systems and data is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with procurement or accounting systems such as Coupa.
• Experience with project management software such as Atlassian JIRA.
