Software Engineer III

Location: Denver, CO; hybrid work available, with residence required within the MSA of the worksite

Salary: $164,112–$170,100 annual salary

What you will do

• Develop and maintain enterprise software applications using programming and scripting languages, business process toolsets, data modeling, and reporting tools.
• Design and implement new system modules and data layouts in collaboration with software architects.
• Document functional and technical specifications and execute full software development lifecycle activities.
• Perform coding, unit and functional testing, debugging, and defect resolution with Quality Assurance.
• Administer version control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and release management processes.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct technology sessions, and present software demonstrations to leadership and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the offered role or a related position.
• Experience with enterprise relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Experience designing and implementing service-oriented architectures using SOAP and REST-based APIs.
• Experience with source control, branching concepts, release management, CI/CD, test-driven development, unit testing, and mocking frameworks.
• Experience developing EDI interfaces and HIPAA-compliant transaction sets, including RedPoint, CorePoint, or Edifecs EDI solutions.
