Associate Principal Product Manager, Commerce (Gaming)

Location: Full-time, in-office position based at Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan, New York, United States.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD per year base pay range in New York State, inclusive of New York City. Total compensation may also include a bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead commerce product development across in-game, web, and PC storefronts and commerce partners.
• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and concept development through development, testing, implementation, and launch.
• Develop product strategies, actionable initiatives, and prioritized backlogs aligned with company goals.
• Work with Business, Legal, Marketing, Engineering, and other stakeholders to define player-first features.
• Create functional requirements, software specifications, feature visuals, and scope and feasibility documentation.
• Monitor software performance and prepare reporting to guide prioritization, product decisions, post-launch corrections, and executive communication.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technology product management experience, ideally with large-scale user-facing software platforms.
• Strong experience conducting product and player research and communicating player behaviors, needs, and pain points.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives end-to-end from inception and design through development, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to translate ambiguous and complex problems into practical solutions and visualize concepts through sketches and diagrams.
• Experience documenting comprehensive functional requirements and software specifications for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience preparing and presenting reports for senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Video game industry experience and passion for hirify.global titles.
• Knowledge of commerce systems, subscriptions, and digital storefronts.
• Experience with A/B testing to improve storefront design and conversion rates.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar product-focused certification.
