Lead Product Manager (Consumer Marketplace)

Location: New York City, United States; onsite at the SoHo office 5 days a week

Salary: $225,000–$245,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the future of consumer event discovery and social discovery across multiple verticals.
• Define product strategy, vision, roadmap, prioritization, and validation plans.
• Lead product discovery, strategic framing, prototyping, and execution from concept through launch.
• Partner with UXR, design, GTM, product, leadership, and cross-functional teams to turn research and market insights into product bets.
• Establish and own consumer metrics, experimentation methods, and analysis of initiative outcomes.
• Balance consumer engagement goals with organizer success in hirify.global’s two-sided marketplace while coaching and influencing the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of discovery or growth for a consumer marketplace or social app.
• Experience leading and shipping large initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Ability to run structured top-of-funnel discovery and visioning work that informs roadmap decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to create prototypes using AI when design or engineering capacity is limited.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Productboard, or Linear.
