Software Engineer, Java

What you will do

• Design and implement software solutions supporting fast-paced game development.
• Build and maintain production tools including task management, defect tracking, video recording, reporting, and analytics applications.
• Contribute to software design guidelines and application architecture.
• Collaborate with technology teams across worldwide studios.
• Learn and apply new technologies to advance internal applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong command of Java, from low-level optimization to high-level architecture.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience designing and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL or another major relational database, including query tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, change data capture pipelines, Java performance profiling, Linux, debugging, communication, and production support.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with directed acyclic graphs, graph databases, FFMPEG, Debezium, caching systems, Spring Cloud, Swagger, Snowflake, or Apache Doris.
• Exposure to version control, CI/CD, build automation, service-oriented architecture, and multi-tier server applications.
