Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Joybuy backend systems for European retail operations.
• Improve system performance, availability, concurrency, security, and scalability.
• Identify technical risks and implement monitoring, maintainability, grey-release, and rollback controls.
• Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and engineering methodologies.
• Identify integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.
• Collaborate with product management teams on software supporting marketing, ecosystem, fulfilment, and supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience with Java programming and Spring Boot.
• Strong coding proficiency and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges independently.
• Effective communication skills in Chinese and English.
