ML Engineer (AI)

Location: Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid)

hirify.global builds the intelligence layer for video, creating multimodal AI models that understand video across sight, sound, and motion.

What you will do

• Build, improve, and operate production ML systems for Pegasus, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Work across the core ML stack, including deployment, inference, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Develop systems for serving Video Language Models (VLMs) and handling multimodal data at scale.
• Drive technical decisions and execution with a high degree of ownership.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity across experimentation and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering and machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience building and shipping ML systems in production.
• Familiarity with multimodal data, computer vision, NLP, LLMs, or VLMs.
• Experience with distributed ML or data workflows, ideally in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Strong engineering judgment regarding performance and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience serving or optimizing LLM/VLM systems in production.
• Experience with inference optimization techniques like batching, caching, or quantization.
• Experience taking AI/ML systems from early-stage development to production.
• Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
