Senior Software Architect - .Net/Python

Location: In-office in Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Strongsville, OH, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $112,000–$228,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Define solution and application architecture across enterprise initiatives and multiple delivery teams.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available cloud-native applications using .NET and modern frameworks.
• Lead modernization from monolithic and legacy platforms to distributed architectures with microservices, containers, and event-driven systems.
• Design APIs and integrations using REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Develop AI architecture and applications using LLMs, AI agents, machine learning, conversational AI, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Guide technology selection, architecture reviews, strategic planning, mentoring, and communication with technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and Kafka or comparable messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, domain-driven design, enterprise integration patterns, software security, resiliency, performance optimization, and unit testing.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, organizational influence, and communication with technical and executive audiences.
• Employment visas are not sponsored, and STEM OPT participation is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Cloud-native architecture and platform engineering experience.
• Experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum experience with Git, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AI agents, RAG, vector databases, model governance, AI observability, and machine learning frameworks.
